Re-Entry Transitional Program

Every year between 600,000-700,000 inmates are released back into the community lacking the job and educational skills needing to avoid repeatedly offending. Through this program we are able to minister at Richmond City Jail, Henrico County Jail, Hanover County Jail, and New Kent County Jail, having a very positive influence on the families impacted. According to a New York newspaper, inmates that are placed in Re entry programs were less likely to re-offend, have their probation revoked, or return to jail or prison.

Tutoring Program

We offer Math and Reading tutoring for grades Kindergarten through 12th. Our programs are designed to teach children to be independent self-learners. This class is scheduled every Tuesday from 5pm-7pm. We also launched our "Summer Enrichment Program" that runs from the middle of June until the end of July. These sessions were developed to help kids to develop or maintain their learning skills throughout the Summer Break. This is also a free community based program. To sign your child up, please call (804)-562-2623 or fill out the information on our Contact Us page!

Volunteering

Volunteering is a great way to further a cause, support an organization, or to make a difference in a community. If you'd like to help out and give something besides money, you can lend your time and talents which are always needed when servicing an entire community. We are in the process of building our new church facility and there will multiple areas that can use volunteers. There is something for everyone to do even children. You've heard the saying, "It takes a whole village to raise a child," but it also takes a whole community to build a village!
